Every fish lover knows Doga Balik. It is one of the cult places at Cihangir in its field. Ibrahim Sogukdag, owner of the place, who uses only virgin olive oil in his kitchen and never prefers mayonnaise, ketchup, cream, and saturated oils, even dries and prepares paprika himself.
Doga Balik, where everything is consumed fresh and daily, is an extraordinary fish restaurant with its rich fish varieties and delicious herbs never found anywhere else. Braised, simmered and stewed lantern fish, and sea-scorpions; and cooked and simmered and stewed horse mackerel, roach and mackerel are among the indispensable flavors at the place.
One should not pass without mentioning fish salads and delicatessens prepared with 35 different herbs besides different fish delicatessens.
